Ready and Sold Technology :: Shipping Answers

Below you will find answers to the questions we receive the most about shipping times, methods and policies
Ready and Sold Technology uses different couriers to expedite your order. Primarily we use Canada Post however, there are some cases where we will use other couriers to make deliveries; smoother and easier, more economical, or reduce the amount of time it takes to deliver your order.
The Shipping calculator that is embedded into our shopping cart is a real-time calculator from Canada Post's and FedEx's servers. Other courier companies we use unfortunately do not have this real-time service available and must be calculated manually by one of our representatives for you.
Please contact us if you would like a quote on:
• A large order
• An order to be shipped with a courier other than Canada Post or FedEx
• A time-definite delivery (a "must-have-by" date)
• Or, if you want to ship with your FedEx account
We are here to help you and reply to emails after hours, on weekends and on holidays.
Delivery times
The delivery times that are indicated at checkout are approximations only. These dates are provided to us by Canada Post or FedEx and may not be 100% accurate in all instances for many reasons. We can not be responsible for late deliveries due to courier errors, acts of god, customs stoppages or any other reason that is out of our control.
If your order has been delayed past the time indicated at checkout and you no longer wish to continue with the order, please contact our Customer Service department before refusing the delivery or sending your order back. Refused deliveries or returns without authorization incur a 15% restocking fee and the shipping charge on your order will NOT be refunded.
Shipping by Country/region
USA
Time in transit Orders being shipped to the U.S. are provided with quite accurate delivery times at checkout. There are however, rare occasions when couriers make mistakes or there are weather or customs delays. In these instances, your order may not arrive in the time frame indicated at checkout. These cases are few and far between, but they still can happen and are completely outside of our control.

Couriers we use If your shipping address is located in the US and your order weighs more than 1Kg (2.2 pounds), we will most likely use FedEx Ground to expedite your order. We have found FedEx's prices and service to be outstanding in this category. If you believe your order is over 1Kg (2.2 pounds), such as ordering a backpack or [system] from Booq, your order will definitely be shipped with FedEx Ground.
If your order is under 1Kg (2.2 lbs), it will more than likely be shipped with Canada Post / USPS by either Small Packet Airmail or Expedited Parcel USA.
Canada
Time in transit Orders being shipped within Canada are provided with very accurate delivery times at checkout. It is very seldom that our Canadian orders are not delivered on time.

Couriers we use
If your shipping address is located in Canada (outside of the Greater Toronto Area, GTA), your order will be shipped with Canada Post. We have found Canada Post's Expedited and XpressPost services within Canada to be excellent and reliable and this is our preferred method.
If you are located in the GTA, we may use Canada Post or our local courier, A & B Courier depending on the item(s) shipped. We have been very happy with A&B Courier's service with our deliveries that are relatively close to our warehouse. Their prices are much more competitive than Canada Post's when a customer orders several backpacks at a time.
Overseas
Time in transit
Orders being shipped overseas (outside of Canada and the USA) have very unpredictable delivery times. Generally though, shipments to Europe using Airmail / Par Avion arrive within 1-2 weeks. Parcel Post can take several more weeks for delivery as they are sent by ship.

Couriers we use
For our overseas customers, Canada Post offers a few options. Most of our shipments are shipped out with Canada Post's Small Packet Airmail service (orders weighing less than 2Kgs). Small Packet Airmail deliveries usually take between 5 and 15 business days depending on your location. For orders over 2Kgs, Parcel Surface is our only economical option.
We also offer Canada Post's upgraded XpressPost service, which is a guaranteed service with tracking abilities and time-definite delivery times of 4-7 business days (times vary by location). If you would like to know what your time frame for delivery would be and an exact shipping cost with XpressPost, please contact our Customer Service department.
The least expensive (but slowest) method of delivery overseas is Parcel Surface. It can take over 4 weeks for an International delivery at times and the Post Office does not offer any sort of real-time tracking. We have not had any instances where packages have been lost or damaged, but this service certainly can be frustrating at times as it can take over a month for delivery. Unfortunately, it is completely out of our hands.

FedEx Priority is available to almost all customers in most countries around the world. If you would like your order shipped by FedEx Priority, please contact us for a quote.
If you have any questions about shipping please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help you and reply to questions by email after hours, on weekends and on holidays.
Thank you!
